After a long summer break, the Australian art auction season is now upon us. Taking up the position of first sale of the year are Menzies Fine Art Auctioneers: their sale on 23 March in Melbourne contains 172 lots.
As usual, David has selected from the catalogue a number of his favourite picks, known as “Dave’s Faves”.
Also as usual, we will be attending all of the important fine art auctions in Melbourne and Sydney in 2016. Our independent and unbiased advice is, as always, just an email or phone call (02 9977 7764) away.
We would be delighted to check out any lots that you might be interested in in this auction or in any other sales throughout 2016 – we feel it will be an exciting year of art at auction in Australia.
