In their summer auction in Sydney, Bonhams presents an eclectic mix of 88 lots, ranging from indigenous bark paintings to the Australian impressionists and to abstract paintings (Tony Tuckson, Elizabeth Cummings, Ildiko Kovacs), ending boldly with works by contemporary artists hardly tested in the auction room before (Heather B. Swann, Dave Teer, Sarit Cohen).
The viewing is in Sydney only, from 26 November to 1 December in the NCJWA Hall, 111 Queen Street, Woollahra.
The auction is held on Tuesday, 1 December, 6.30 pm, also in the NCJWA Hall in Woollahra.
If you are interested in any of the lots and would like advice before buying, let us know and we can assist you with due diligence and bidding on the night.
So here are Dave’s Faves from Bonhams for you:

Dear Brigitte,
I rather like Lldiko’s work, reminds me of Emily. Please keep an eye out for one of Emily’s under $20,000.00 if it’s possible.

Thanks anyway,
