Deutscher + Hackett present an impressive catalogue with 146 lots. It features several specials, among them the Gene and Brian Sherman 1st Capsule Collection (lots 25 – 39), a private collection of works by Albert Namatjira (lots 86 – 91) and works donated by renowned contemporary artists to benefit the National Art School in Sydney (lots 58 – 62).
In a change of venue to reflect this, the auction itself will be held in the Cell Block Theatre at the National Art School on Wednesday, 26 August 2015.
However, you can view all artworks prior to the auction in their usual settings:
– in Melbourne from 13 – 16 August at 105 Commercial Road, South Yarra
– in Sydney from 20 – 25 August at 55 Oxford Street, corner Pelican Street, Surry Hills.
